About This Role
We are looking for a meticulous and seasoned Software Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to become a part of our team. The QA Specialist's primary role is to guarantee the quality and dependability of our software products by creating and executing tests, diagnosing issues, and establishing corrective measures. Additionally, you will evaluate system requirements and monitor quality assurance metrics.
Responsibilities
Design and carry out test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our software applications.
Spot, document, and monitor software bugs and inconsistencies.
Team up with developers to understand product updates and provide feedback on their potential effects.
Thoroughly re-test software after bugs are fixed.
Examine and interpret system specifications.
Assess product code to ensure it meets specifications.
Maintain logs to record testing phases and detected defects.
Report bugs and errors to the development team.
Assist in resolving issues.
Perform testing after product releases and implementations.
Collaborate with various team members to ensure quality throughout the software development process.
Test, investigate, and identify the root cause of issues raised by the support team.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or a related role.
Knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing is beneficial.
Experience with project management and QA methodologies.
Skilled in QA tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, etc.).
Capable of documenting and troubleshooting errors effectively.
Familiar with test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
Excellent communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Laravel, React, and SQL.
Knowledgeable in using test frameworks such as Robot Framework.
