Job Description / Tasks
• Define and implement the right strategy to drive growth and profitability of category, with the understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of sales and assortment data, draw insights, recommendations and short term and long term category strategies, communicate and collaborate with related stakeholders for execution
• Provide vendor management and account development teams with direction in order to optimize potential vendors’ performance.
• Provides Vendor Acquisition with insights and recommendations on assortment gaps and overseeing the acquisition of new vendors
• Find and negotiate with accounts of high commercial value to onboard on bamilo
• ·Establish category sourcing strategies, manage retail and working capital, balance retail and marketplace to achieve profitability of category, and conduct accurate inventory management analysis and practices
• Manage and enhance marketing practices and monitor and analyze and assesses categorybrand performance
• Collaborate with online merchandising unit for category tree, filters, product sorting rules and overall product presentation based on historical performance, the category strategy and available deals
• Oversee B2B deals and potentials and develop this feature within the category
• Develop a thorough understanding of the related category market, its seasonality and global business trendsevents, and continually monitor competitorindustry developments to ensure products and prices are best offered in bamilo
