Vandar is looking for an experienced Scrum master to oversee and guide our Scrum teams. The Scrum master's responsibilities include ensuring that development teams follow the Scrum framework and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.
You’ll be our go-to person for using scrum to help team produce high-quality work on time. Your duties include managing timelines, resolving problems, and coaching team members on agile methodology and the Scrum framework.
- Experience:
You should have an excellent working knowledge of the Scrum framework. You’ll also need the ability to coordinate people and projects with a strong focus on deliverables. If you’re a strong communicator and a capable servant leader, we’d like to meet you.
- Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
- Shield the development team from external interference so as to increase their velocity
- Mentor team members in the Scrum framework to reach higher Scrum maturity
- Facilitate communication and effective collaboration with internal teams
- Document and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
- Prepare and present periodic status reports to internal stakeholders
- Work with product owners to refine backlogs, and manage project scope and timeline
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles
- Continuously monitor progress and performance through burndown charts and other project management tools
- Ensure that teams reach sprint goals reliably
- Ensure deliverables are up to high quality standards
